In the fantasy playoffs, it is crucial to consider all aspects of a player's outcome before locking them in your lineup. In this piece, we will look at three proven wide receivers who have a wide range of outcomes in Week 16.
Terry McLaurin has emerged as a legit WR1 but faces a tough Philadelphia secondary, while Cooper Kupp and Adam Thielen are both coming off disappointing showings, especially Kupp, who scored zero points last weekend.

Should I Start Terry McLaurin for Fantasy Football?
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has enjoyed a fantastic campaign with Jayden Daniels under center. Over his previous three games, the Ohio State product has found the end zone five times and averaged 82.7 yards per game with a stellar 24.9 PPR points per game.

Since Week 3, McLaurin has only had one game where he scored less than 10.0 PPR points. This was against the Philadelphia Eagles, who he will be facing again on Sunday.
In the first matchup, McLaurin caught just one of his two targets for 10 yards. Even though the Eagles have allowed the fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts, fantasy managers should not consider sitting McLaurin in any format. He is a must-start WR2.
Should I Start Cooper Kupp for Fantasy Football?
Last Thursday, Cooper Kupp had his first zero-point fantasy output since the 2017 season. During this game, Kupp was unable to bring in any of his three targets. However, before this poor showing, the 31-year-old has averaged a strong 18.0 PPR points per game while tallying 72.9 yards per game since Week 8.

Despite letting fantasy managers down last weekend, Kupp should still be viewed as a high-floor WR2, especially in PPR formats. Since Week 8, Kupp has seen an average of 9.1 targets per contest.
Even though he will face a tough New York Jets secondary that has allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts, fantasy managers in three-WR formats should still feel confident putting Kupp in their lineup. He should be poised for a nice bounce-back showing given his reliable target share.
Should I Start Adam Thielen for Fantasy Football?
Despite leading the team in targets (seven), Thielen was only able to bring in five of them for a mere 51 yards. This was his lowest yardage output since returning from a hamstring injury in Week 12.

Before his Week 15 showing, Thielen was building a nice connection with Bryce Young as he averaged a strong 86.0 yards per game while tallying an excellent 17.3 PPR points per game. During this span, Thielen has emerged as Young's go-to option in the passing game.
Even though he has a tougher matchup this weekend against the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed the 13th-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts, fantasy managers should continue to view him as a high-end WR3 who carries a safe floor.
