PROSPECT: Walker Jenkins, OF, Minnesota Twins
CURRENT LEVEL: Single-A
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Walker Jenkins (hamstring) is approaching his return to the diamond and is worth monitoring in fantasy baseball dynasty leagues.
Jenkins, the fifth overall selection in the 2023 MLB Draft, showcased his potential in his first professional season last year in the Rookie League and Single-A. He boasted an impressive .362/.417/.571 line, including 12 total extra-base hits with three home runs, 22 RBI, and a solid 9:14 BB:K ratio.
“Walker Jenkins…welcome to Fort Myers!”

However, the top prospect in the Minnesota system has been sidelined since suffering a strained hamstring on Opening Day with Single-A Fort Myers.
When the 19-year-old returns, he should quickly progress through the Twins system and could even make a case to see time in Double-A toward the end of the summer. He is worth monitoring in dynasty leagues and could become a popular stash candidate toward the end of the summer.
