Tyler Allgeier is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add Only as Handcuff
ROSTERED IN: 50% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier could benefit from the cakewalk schedule his team has had this season -- if he was the starting RB. The main guy has been and will remain to be Bijan Robinson, though. There's no reason for that to change. No. 25 is simply his handcuff.

He was stuffed at the goal line three straight times by the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. Robinson immediately ran it in afterwards for a touchdown. It's pretty clear what their roles are at this point, and if Allgeier continues to struggle in short-yardage situations like this, it's hard to see him gaining standalone value.
He will be an excellent fantasy option and immediate waiver wire priority pickup if his backfield mate goes down with an injury, which is why Robinson managers should make sure they make space on their bench for him. Atlanta's RB1 role is very valuable for fantasy football. The potential upside of having him far outweighs the opportunity cost of a bench spot.
