ANALYSIS: Arizona Cardinals rookie tight end Trey McBride scored the first TD of his NFL career in Arizona's Week 17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Since stepping into the Cardinals' starting lineup in place of Zach Ertz in Week 11, McBride's production has been underwhelming. However, it's fair to wonder how much of the blame lies with the rookie, as Arizona has used a rotating cast of journeyman quarterbacks over the past month.
Last week's output was a nice reminder of why the Cardinals made him the first tight end selected in the 2022 NFL Draft. His performance against Atlanta should be a nice confidence booster for McBride as he prepares to close out his maiden pro campaign against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18.
