Taysom Hill is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for tight ends. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 52% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill is set to have an increased workload with the litany of injuries that have affected Saints pass-catchers this season. WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) is out for the season, and WR Chris Olave (concussion) is set to miss extended time after sustaining his second concussion this season.
This is exactly what Tom Brady was referencing when he talked about good Quarterbacks not putting their receivers in dangerous situations.
Derek Carr just sent Chris Olave to the hospital.

New Orleans quarterback Derek Carr delivered Olave a literal hospital pass, and there's been talk of him potentially landing on injured reserve. To this point, Hill hasn't seen a lot of receiving work, but that could change. Still, he was only targeted two times in Week 10, which was concerning.
The upside is there, but he'll need to be more involved in the passing game to be fantasy relevant. He has decent upside with his rushing work, and he had a potential 88-yard touchdown early in the game called back by a holding penalty, but it's risky to start players with such low volume.
The tight end position has more options now after an abysmal start to the season, but in leagues with 12 or more teams, it's at least worth using a bench spot for No. 7 right now.
