ANALYSIS: Just when it appeared that Ronny Mauricio was on the verge of being promoted, a collision over the weekend sent him for an MRI. As of writing this, the results of the MRI haven't been released, but this is less than ideal timing.
Mauricio has racked up 23 doubles, eight home runs, and nine steals in 60 games this season with a .320/.360/.524 slash line.
VERDICT: The injury is undoubtedly frustrating, but Mauricio remains a top-10 prospects and a big part of New York's future.
