BALLER MOVE: Add Only as Handcuff
ROSTERED IN: 16% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis looked to have an outside shot at being the starter for his team with lead running back James Cook (toe) suffering from an injury. Things are trending toward Cook playing, and Davis hasn't been particularly efficient with his playing time so far.
#NFL Injury Updates:#Bills James Cook - Likely playing. Turf toe data favors dip in total touches + efficiency. +Re-injury risk#Colts Anthony Richardson - TBD. Atypical practice progression (LP -> FP -> LP) = high risk to miss. Data still favors playing (~60%)

Davis doesn't have any standalone value while Cook is healthy, and the lead back is highly efficient with his touches (4.4 yards per carry and 11.1 yards per catch). In Week 5, Davis logged zero carries and was targeted just once, hauling in one pass for four yards. He was on the field for just 3% of snaps.
Fantasy managers who have Cook on their roster would be well-served to add Davis as an emergency handcuff in case he doesn't play on Monday, but he hasn't played well enough to siphon touches away from the starter.

The tight end position is often one of misery for fantasy managers. Outside of tight end premium leagues, the position is easily the lowest-scoring in fantasy football among types of players (i.e., QB, WR, RB, and TE), with tight ends often failing to eclipse 10 PPR points per game. Still, having one of the better […]

Veteran wide receivers who are largely forgotten in fantasy leagues and second-year players often present major value to fantasy managers. These players often can outperform expectations and become excellent waiver wire pickups. Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups - Brashard Smith, Ollie Gordon, Kendre Miller Fantasy Football Outlooks
The 2025 NFL rookie running back class was lauded as one of the best in the history of the league, so it makes sense that hunting the waiver wire for rookie RBs could pay off in a big way this year. We've seen a few players, like Jacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten, get off to […]

Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups - Tyler Allgeier, Blake Corum, Kyle Monangai Fantasy Football Outlooks
Once again, the waiver wire this week is lacking quality running backs. We have yet to see any surprise names emerge, but that will likely change as the season progresses. While there might not be a starting back available on waivers, there are a few players who could be of some use to fantasy managers. […]
