ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston has had a breakout sophomore year after an awful rookie season. The former TCU star is the WR40, averaging 10.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game despite missing time with an injury. He has been a scoring machine, finding the end zone in five of the past seven contests.
Last week, Johnston had eight targets against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, he only caught two for 48 receiving yards. Yet, the second-year wide receiver finished the game with 11.8 fantasy points after finding the end zone for the third consecutive week.

While the Chargers remain a run-first offense, their passing attack has picked up lately. Johnston saw a season-high eight targets in Week 11 after totaling six or fewer in every other game this year.
Fantasy players who need help at the wide receiver position should make the second-year pro their top priority off the waiver wire.
