Thunder Dan's MLB Strikeout Prop Bets Today: Best Pitcher K Props (6/8/2026)

Gavin Williams - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Today's best MLB strikeout prop bets and pitcher K props for Monday, June 8. Thunder Dan's expert MLB player prop picks, betting odds, and advanced stat analysis to help you win.

We may have a short slate today with just eight MLB games, but that doesn't mean that we don't have some very attractive strikeout prop targets! My card has more unders than usual, but that's because we have only a handful of aces on the bump tonight.

I'll offer up a few of my top picks here today, but you'll need to grab a premium pass to see all five of my favorite K prop wagers. Our top MLB writers are posting their favorite props on Discord daily, so gain additional access to those picks with a premium RotoBaller membership.

In this article, I'll provide my favorite prop bets for MLB games on Monday, June 8, 2026. Odds will change during the day, so lock in those bets as early as possible and always shop for the best number across multiple sportsbooks or prediction markets! High-Confidence Strikeout Picks

All odds were current as of 9:00 AM

Gavin Williams OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-125 Novig)

Williams is one of the top pitchers on the bump tonight and is facing the Yankees for the second straight start. He whiffed six Yankees last week, but this time he'll face them at home, and New York's lineup should look a little different with Spencer Jones (46% K% so far) in the lineup and possibly Ali Sanchez at catcher, too.

Williams is having a breakout campaign with a 29% K% and 13.9% SwStr%. He's cured the walk issues for the most part, too, with a 7.7% BB%. His last start against New York was the shortest one he's made in two months, as he was lifted after five and a third innings. If he makes it through six innings tonight, I love his chances of getting to seven strikeouts against an Aaron Judge-less New York lineup.

Williams has the plus breaking stuff to put away hitters, so it likely just comes down to him working ahead in the count tonight and finishing off hitters when he gets the chance.

Kyle Harrison OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-128 FanDuel)

Harrison is having just an incredible year in Milwaukee! The left-hander is now up to a 31.9% K% and 14% SwStr% on the season and has two double-digit strikeout games in his last three starts.

His K% goes up to nearly 34% against right-handed hitters, and he'll see at least seven or eight of them in the Athletics lineup tonight. The A's are striking out around 24% of the time lately (last two weeks) against LHP, which is the 9th-worst mark in MLB.

This is just a great spot for Harrison. If we zoom in a bit on the Athletics' lineup, they have only three hitters with sub-20% K-rates this season. If Harrison has his good stuff tonight, he should be able to mow down at least seven Athletics. Yes, the wind is blowing out at this tiny ballpark, but Harrison has been limiting damage all season, and I don't think he's that big of a risk to get chased early.
