We made it to Friday once again, and we get a long weekend with Memorial Day on the horizon. This is one of my favorite slates of the season as we have a clear path on the offensive side of the ball tonight with two stacks I want to be heavily exposed to. We have plenty of options to get different on the mound as well. Let’s dig in.

Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Jacob deGrom, SP - LAA ($9.5K DK/$9.7K FD)
Jacob deGrom is the lone pay-up option I'm interested in tonight. He gets an elite matchup on the road in Angel Stadium against the strikeout-prone Los Angeles Angels. I have a 33.7% K%, 7.38 strikeouts for deGrom tonight in my model, as well as a 3.8 implied run total for the Angels.
DeGrom continues to redefine Father Time. He has been elite this season, pitching to a 3.06 xFIP, 31.0% K%, 16.9% SwStr%, and a 0.91 WHIP. He has given up some home runs this season with a 1.78 HR/9 and a 53.5% FB%, but a matchup with the Angels should negate some of that.
The Angels have really struggled this season with RHP on all fronts. They have a 26.2% K%, .666 OPS, and an 88 wRC+ against the split. Over the last 14 days, they have a 26.6% K%, .532 OPS, and a 49 wRC+. If you want the best floor/ceiling combination on the slate, Jacob deGrom is your SP1.

Arizona Diamondbacks (Model-Projected IRT of 5.5 runs) vs. Tomoyuki Sugano
I am all in on the Diamondbacks tonight. The roof will be open at Chase Field tonight, and it will be in the low 90s tonight at first pitch. This is not only the best matchup on the board, but also the best hitting environment. Sign me up for an offensive outburst for the Snakes tonight.
Tomoyuki Sugano will toe the rubber for the Rockies, and he has been hit hard this season. He has allowed a 4.95 xFIP, 1.26 WHIP, 1.72 HR/9, 41.9% FB%, and a 41.9% Hard Hit% in 2026. Over his last two starts, he has a 1.70 WHIP, 2.70 HR/9, 43.2% FB%, and a 51.4% Hard Hit%. In these elements, he is in trouble allowing that much hard contact in the air.
The Snakes are heating up a bit as well, as they have a .712 OPS and a 100 wRC+ over the L30 days against RHP. Sugano has really struggled with LHH, allowing a .993 OPS this season to the split, so that is where we want to start our stacks tonight. The Snakes have a bunch of LHH to take advantage of these splits.

Ketel Marte, 2B - ARI ($5.3K DK/$3.2K FD)
It is almost impossible not to click Ketel Marte's name in every lineup at this point tonight. After a season of awful luck, tides are finally starting to turn his way, and now he gets an elite matchup against Tomoyuki Sugano, who has allowed a .696 wOBA, .522 ISO, and a 1.791 OPS to LHH over their last 23 ABs. Marte has a .430 wOBA, .259 ISO, and a .993 OPS during that span.
