I switched my model over to all 2026 data last night, and we are finally at the point in the season where we can start to see recent trends and hot-and-cold streaks in offenses. We have a great Wednesday night baseball slate on tap for us tonight where there is great contests and plenty of money to be made.

Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Peter Lambert, SP - HOU ($8.0K DK/$9.0K FD)
It is the year 2026, and I am writing Peter Lambert up as my core pitcher. I never expected this, but Lambert has been phenomenal so far this season. He will square off against the Orioles on the road this evening at Camden Yards.
Lambert has pitched to a 2.64 xFIP, 33.3% K%, 17.7% SwStr%, 1.27 WHIP, and a 0.00 HR/9 this season. He has allowed a 24.0% FB% and a 15.4% Hard Hit%. His 35.0% xK% is also elite. It is a small sample size, but Lambert looks the part.

This season, the Orioles have a 24.0% K% and a .733 OPS against RHP, with a 106 wRC+. The L30 and L14 trends are very similar to their 2026 data, so this matchup screams upside for Lambert at his price.
Top MLB DFS Stack for DraftKings, FanDuel
Houston Astros (Model-Projected IRT of 5.8 runs) vs. Chris Bassitt
The Astros will face Chris Bassitt tonight at Camden Yards, and they look phenomenal in this spot. If it weren't for the ballpark being so hitter-friendly in West Sacramento, this would be my top stack of the night, but because DraftKings decided to exclude the late game, I wanted to make this the freebie stack for you all.
This season, the Astros have a .789 OPS and a 120 wRC+ against RHP. They are tearing the cover off the baseball at the moment, and their 5.8 implied run total is the highest on tonight's slate in my model.
Bassit has struggled this season, posting a 6.26 xFIP, 2.06 WHIP, and 1.27 HR/9. He is throwing strikes 59.5% of the time, which means his command is a major issue, and against an offense as hot as the Astros, this one should get ugly quickly.

Yordan Alvarez, OF - HOU ($6.5K DK/$4.4K FD)
Yordan Alvarez is red hot to start the 2026 campaign and gets a tremendous matchup tonight with Chris Bassitt and the Orioles bullpen. Bassitt has allowed a .623 SLG and a 38.0% Hard Hit% to LHH this season. Alvarez is slashing .329/.454/.686 with a 1.139 OPS and 6 HRs against RHP in 2026. He has a 1.615 OPS over his L7 days against the split.
If you are into BVP as well, which I tend not to be, Alvarez has destroyed Bassitt in his career. Every time they face each other, I bet a home run, and tonight is no different. He is slashing .471/.550/1.235 with a 1.785 OPS and 4 HRs in 17 PAs in his career against Bassitt.
