9 mins agoNew York Jets running back Breece Hall (hamstring) is on the Week 13 injury report after putting in a limited practice on Wednesday. It's notable that Hall is on the team's injury report for the first time since the opening month of the season, but it doesn't appear to be an injury serious enough to put him in danger of missing the Week 13 tilt against the visiting Atlanta Falcons. The 22-year-old remains New York's lead back, but the Jets' putrid offense has cratered his fantasy upside. Hall did very little on the ground in last Friday's loss to the Miami Dolphins but saved his fantasy day with a season-high seven catches on nine targets for 24 yards. Both he and the Jets offense will hope to be much more productive this weekend against Atlanta.Source: ESPN New York - Rich Cimini
15 mins agoLos Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said that there's a possibility that wide receiver Joshua Palmer (knee) will return this year. Palmer is on Injured Reserve with a knee sprain and is eligible to return at any time. The 24-year-old pass-catcher hasn't played since going down with his knee injury in the Week 8 win over the Chicago Bears, and there remains no timetable for a possible return. He's worth stashing in fantasy leagues if you have the room, as he was the Chargers' No. 2 wideout behind target hog Keenan Allen after Mike Williams' (knee) season-ending injury earlier this year. Jalen Guyton and rookie first-rounder Quentin Johnston have been on the field more with Palmer on IR, but neither receiver has really been able to capitalize yet.Source: The Athletic - Daniel Popper
22 mins agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (shoulder) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Everett was unable to play in Week 11 but returned in Week 12 to face the Baltimore Ravens after a questionable tag and caught all four of his targets for 43 yards and his third touchdown of the season in Sunday night's 20-10 loss. He's still on the Week 13 injury report, but he appears to be fine to play this weekend on the road in New England against the Patriots. The 29-year-old's return to action has taken Donald Parham Jr. off the streaming radar for the time being. Everett hasn't cleared 47 receiving yards in a game all year and will continue being a touchdown-dependent TE2 in fantasy lineups this weekend.Source: Los Angeles Chargers
34 mins agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (ribs, finger) practiced in full on Wednesday. It's somewhat surprising, considering he was injured in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, the rookie hasn't done much to benefit fantasy managers this season, catching only 21 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown. That said, Keenan Allen (quadriceps) isn't a lock to play in Week 13 against the Patriots after sitting out Wednesday's session. If Allen doesn't suit up for that one, Johnston could see interest as a flex option in deep fantasy formats.Source: Los Angeles Chargers
40 mins agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (quadriceps) didn't practice on Wednesday. The wideout is having a career year, totaling 97 catches for 1,117 yards and seven touchdowns. At this rate, he's on pace to easily surpass his career highs in all those categories, so he's a must-start in all fantasy formats in Week 13 versus the Patriots if he suits up. He may simply be getting a day off for maintenance reasons, meaning his status for Thursday's session may paint a better picture regarding his availability.Source: Los Angeles Chargers
52 mins agoHouston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (thigh) practiced fully on Wednesday. The 22-year-old has taken a beating over the last few weeks, which likely contributed to his thigh issue. But his participation in Wednesday's session is an excellent sign regarding his availability for Week 13 versus the Denver Broncos. Stroud is well on his way to winning this year's Rookie of the Year award, tossing for 3,266 yards, 19 touchdowns, and five picks. He's also found the end zone three times as a runner. Nonetheless, assuming Stroud doesn't suffer a setback in the next few days, fantasy managers can start the signal-caller with confidence versus a weak Broncos defense.Source: Aaron Wilson
60 mins agoHouston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (hamstring) didn't practice with the team on Wednesday. The 27-year-old had a rough showing in the Week 12 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching one pass for two yards. But now he's dealing with a hamstring issue, so fantasy managers will wait to see how things play out heading toward Sunday's matchup with the Denver Broncos. That said, Schultz's fantasy production has relied heavily on his ability to find the end zone. He's only caught more than four passes in two games this season. However, Schultz has found the end zone in five of his last eight games.Source: Jonathan Alexander
1 hour agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (ankle) and tight end Tommy Tremble (hip) missed practice on Wednesday. Both players were ruled out in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans, with Shenault tweaking his ankle while Tremble injured his hip. With a few more practices left ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there's a chance they could practice, at least in a limited capacity. However, neither Tremble nor Shenault have done much this season in terms of production, so their statuses won't impact managers either way.Source: Mike Kaye
2 hours agoArizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride (groin) didn't practice on Wednesday. The 24-year-old is coming off one of his best games of the season, collecting seven of his nine targets for 60 yards. However, he's currently battling a groin issue, although only time will tell if he'll suit up in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Marquise Brown (heel) and Michael Wilson (shoulder) also weren't in attendance for Wednesday's session, so it could be a rough week for Kyler Murray. At any rate, Zach Ertz (quadriceps) remains on the injured reserve list, meaning Geoff Swaim, who has just 12 catches this season, could be the next man up if McBride doesn't play.Source: Josh Weinfuss
2 hours agoAccording to Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette, Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's matchup with the Houston Texans. The 23-year-old had 33 catches for 411 yards and two touchdowns last season. But he's appeared in only two games during the 2023-24 campaign, last suiting up in Week 6 in Kansas City before going on the injured reserve for the second time with a bum hamstring. At any rate, Dulcich is expected to return at some point soon. However, he must get healthy and productive before earning a spot on most fantasy rosters. In the meantime, Adam Trautman should remain the No. 1 tight end on the depth chart, although he hasn't done much to benefit fantasy managers.Source: Chris Tomasson
3 hours agoMiami Dolphins rookie running back De'Von Achane (knee) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Achane came off Injured Reserve before the Week 11 win over the Las Vegas Raiders but aggravated his knee injury early and never returned. He was limited in practice all of last week, but the Dolphins erred on the side of caution and held him out of the Black Friday victory over the New York Jets. The explosive 22-year-old runner's injury isn't serious, so there's a strong chance he'll be active in Week 13 against the Washington Commanders. If Achane returns, we could see a three-headed committee approach for the Dolphins with Achane, Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr., who saw a season-high 14 touches against the Jets.Source: ESPN.com - Marcel Louis-Jacques
3 hours agoMiami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (ankle, knee) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice. The Dolphins have been giving their productive lead back rest early in the week as he manages multiple injuries. As long as Mostert is able to return to practice on Thursday or Friday, he should be fine to continue serving as Miami's primary ball-carrier this Sunday against the Washington Commanders. In last Friday's win over the New York Jets, Mostert had 20 carries for 94 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, although backfield mate Jeff Wilson Jr. also saw his biggest workload of the year. If rookie De'Von Achane (knee) returns this weekend after missing another game in Week 12, Mostert could be looking at losing even more valuable touches.Source: ESPN.com - Marcel Louis-Jacques
3 hours agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle) did not participate in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Hill should be fine, but it's something we'll continue to monitor for the NFL's leading receiver. The 29-year-old briefly left last Friday's win over the New York Jets to be looked at but he quickly returned and finished with nine catches on 12 targets for 102 yards and another touchdown. Miami is likely just giving their top playmaker a little extra rest heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Washington Commanders and their leaky secondary this Sunday. As long as Hill returns to practice later this week, he should remain locked into all starting fantasy lineups. The Cheetah has been unstoppable with a league-high 1,324 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 11 games in 2023.Source: ESPN.com - Marcel Louis-Jacques
4 hours agoDallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) was able to practice in full on Wednesday and has been removed from the Week 13 injury report after two limited practices to begin the week. He will be active on Thursday night as the team takes on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13. The 25-year-old has been playing through a minor ankle injury in recent weeks, but he'll be good to go in primetime as Tony Pollard's backup. The South Carolina alum is averaging over four yards per carry and has three total touchdowns (one rushing, two receiving) on the year, but he's just not seeing enough work behind Pollard to be a realistic starting option in fantasy lineups. In the Thanksgiving win over the Washington Commanders, he saw only four touches but did find the end zone on a 15-yard catch.Source: The Athletic - Jon Machota
4 hours agoSeattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) is listed as doubtful to play in Week 13 on Thursday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys. Walker is set to miss his second straight game after suffering a moderate oblique strain in the Week 11. The 23-year-old hasn't practiced since, but he should have a better shot at playing in the Week 13 rematch against the San Francisco 49ers after a mini-bye. With Walker out again this week, rookie Zach Charbonnet will serve as Seattle's lead back again. In last Thursday's loss to the 49ers, the rookie had 14 carries for 47 yards and caught all four of his targets for 11 yards in the passing game. DeeJay Dallas and Kenny McIntosh will back him up in another tough matchup against Dallas on the road.Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
