Buffalo Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons has secured a new one-year deal with the club. The Sabres brought the Latvian forward back for his 10th season with the team for $2.5 million. Girgensons was Buffalo's first-round pick in 2012, and he's the team's current longest-serving player. The 29-year-old played a career-high 80 games in 2022-23, scoring 10 goals and notching 18 points with 114 shots on goal and 96 hits.
