Zamir White With A Huge Workload In Loss
12 months agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White had 20 carries for 71 yards in the loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. White also had five catches for 35 yards on six targets in this contest. White again handled the majority of carries and catches out of the backfield. Despite the numerous opportunities, White could not score a touchdown in this contest. Outside of White and Davante Adams, the Raiders had no real playmakers on offense against the Indianapolis team. The Raiders take on the Denver Broncos in Week 18. The Broncos are one of the easiest matchups for running backs, allowing the most rushing yards per game this season. Raiders running back Josh Jacobs did not practice this week, so there is still doubt surrounding his return for Week 18. If White remains the starter against the Broncos, he should be a near must-start player. Fantasy managers should watch the Raiders backfield closely and start White if he is allowed to be the lead back again.
