Zamir White May Lead Backfield In Week 15
12 months agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White has been uninvolved in the Raider offense for much of the season, with starter Josh Jacobs carrying an enormous workload, but that could change in Week 15. Jacobs left last week's game early with a knee injury, which has prevented him from practicing this week. The Raiders play on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Chargers this week. Given the short turnaround time and lack of practice, it seems unlikely that Jacobs will suit up for Thursday's contest. In the absence of Jacobs, White should step into the RB1 role. White will likely handle the bulk of the carries, while Ameer Abdullah should mix in for passing downs and two-minute drills. The Chargers defense is not the easy matchup it once was for running backs. Still, given the uncertainty surrounding the Chargers offense, White could be an intriguing option for bold fantasy managers this week.
