Zamir White Could Be Ready For Bigger Role
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White never had a significant role in his rookie season behind Josh Jacobs after being taken in the fourth round in 2022. White had just 17 carries in 14 games last year, but he displayed growth in his knowledge of the system, pass-protection ability, overall awareness and ball-carrier vision. Even if Jacobs doesn't sit out the 2023 season while seeking a contract extension, White could be called on more to balance out the workload. "When he gets his opportunity, he'll be prepared and ready to go do some good things," RBs coach Kennedy Polamalu said. The 23-year-old isn't much of a pass-catcher, so he'll probably need a Jacobs injury to become relevant in fantasy in his sophomore season.
