Edmonton Oilers forward Zack Kassian played alongside Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl in Thursday night's win, picking up a pair of assists along the way. Kassian received a season-high 22 minutes of ice time, with just over 20 minutes coming with McDavid and Draisaitl on the ice as well. Playing with Edmonton's two most effective players is not necessarily new for Kassian, but Thursday's game was the biggest commitment that the coaching staff has made to keep the three together. With eight points in 11 games this season, Kassian should beat out his previous high-water mark of 29 points in a season even if he only receives intermittent time with those two. Monitor his usage closely as Kassian goes from waiver wire fodder to a worthy starter in all formats when he plays on Edmonton's top line.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
