Zac Veen Out For Rest Of Season
11 months agoColorado Rockies outfield prospect Zac Veen (wrist) underwent left wrist surgery Thursday and will be out for the rest of the season. It was an up-and-down 2023 season for the 21-year-old. A series of hot and cold streaks culminates in a .209/.303/308 line with two home runs, 24 RBI, 15 runs, and 22 stolen bases in 46 games with Double-A Hartford. However, Veen's agent noted that Veen's wrist injury had impacted his ability to generate power in his swing since the 2022 All-Star break — explaining the 2020 first-round pick's recent poor performance. Despite this season-ending injury, he remains a must-roster in dynasty leagues.
