Zac Gallen Dominates Dodgers In No-Decision
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen put forth his best effort on Thursday against the Los Angeles Dodgers but was unable to come away with a win in the 3-2 loss. In eight innings, he allowed just one earned run on two hits while walking none and striking out a career-high 13 batters. He allowed just two baserunners in the game. The 27-year-old right-hander is having a breakout season in 2022, going 12-3 with a 2.46 ERA (2.88 FIP), a league-leading 0.89 WHIP, a career-high 180 strikeouts and 43 walks in 172 innings over 29 starts for the D-backs. Gallen has an ERA under 1.00 in his last nine starts and he'll be a must-start in fantasy the rest of the way.
