Yu Darvish Endures Rocky First Start
Yu Darvish lasted just 4 ⅔ innings on Opening Day against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Despite laboring throughout the contest, Darvish held a 6-1 lead before unraveling in the fifth frame after 93 pitches and four earned runs. He fanned six while allowing eight hits and a walk. Even with the rough outing, the 34-year-old peppered the strike zone and seemed mostly comfortable working out of jams. Fantasy managers should rely on him next Tuesday when he attempts to right the ship against the San Francisco Giants.
