1 year agoJapanese free-agent right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto is one of the Boston Red Sox's top priorities this week at the winter meetings in Nashville, Tennessee. Yamamoto, who is on of the top free-agent arms available this offseason, is expected to sign after two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani and before the end of the month. The Red Sox are also reportedly very interested in right-handed veteran Seth Lugo as they prepare to rebuild a starting rotation that needs some serious help. The 25-year-old Yamamoto will have serious intrigue as a starting pitcher in fantasy leagues in his first year in the States as well in 2024, and he's expected to command a free-agent deal in excess of $200 million.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
