New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right hip flexor strain, retroactive to May 14. Cespedes has eight home runs, 28 RBI, 18 runs and a .790 OPS in 2018. He has also chipped in with three stolen bases. It is a tough break for both the Mets and Cespedes' fantasy owners, who will have to hope that it is a short DL stint. It is possible he can return next Thursday when he is eligible. In his absence, it'll mean more playing time for Juan Lagares and Brandon Nimmo in New York's outfield.--RJ Stacey
