2 years agoThe New York Yankees may pass on the remaining free-agent left fielders such as Jurickson Profar, David Peralta and Corey Dickerson because they want to stay below the $293 million "Steven Cohen tax" threshold -- they are currently sitting at $290 million. The Yanks aren't opposed to giving Oswaldo Cabrera and Estevan Florial a shot in left field next year. Manager Aaron Boone also talked about Giancarlo Stanton potentially playing more outfield "in spurts" in 2023.
