7/3:It was a quiet last few days for Toronto Blue Jays infielder Yangervis Solarte, but he did his best to come out of the funk on Tuesday against the New York Mets. After going hitless in his last two games, Solarte finally picked one up in a big way by finishing 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. The long ball was Solarte’s 16th of the season. On the year, he’s now slashing .250/.308/.451 with 17 doubles, 41 runs scored, 48 RBI and one stolen base. While Solarte has been hot at times, it's tough to rely on him as an everyday asset in most small to mid-sized leagues.--John Smith
