5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants. This marks the second game in a row that Molina will sit out due to rest. Molina has struggled over the last week, so the Cardinals want to give their veteran catcher some extra rest. Matt Wieters will serve as the catcher and bat seventh versus lefty Drew Pomeranz. Wieters does not have enough upside to warrant using here.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
