Former Dallas Cowboys safety Xavier Woods signed a three-year, $15.75 million deal with the Carolina Panthers on Monday, according to a source. The Dallas Cowboys drafted Woods in the sixth round of the 2017 draft out of Louisiana Tech, and he spent the first four years of his career in Dallas before playing for the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. Woods had a career-high 108 tackles (72 solo), three interceptions, 10 passes defensed, two forced fumble and one sack in 17 games in 2021. The 26-year-old has been a productive ballhawk in the NFL and should serve as Carolina's starting free safety in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
