2 years agoMiami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard (groin) is day-to-day with a groin injury that he suffered in last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. "He will do everything in his power to play against the Jets," head coach Mike McDaniel said on Wednesday. Meanwhile, cornerback Byron Jones (ankle) isn't ready to begin the 21-day process of returning from the Physically Unable to Perform list. If Howard doesn't make anymore progress this week and can't play on Sunday, the Dolphins secondary will be short-handed for a matchup against the New York Jets.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
