4 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) is scheduled to take 30 swings off a tee on Tuesday. Bogaerts rushed his throwing program early in camp and has come down with a sore right shoulder, although manager Alex Cora doesn't think it will get in the way of Bogaerts being ready by Opening Day. He's expected to resume throwing in a couple of days. Fantasy managers should be keeping a close eye on this situation, but barring any setbacks, there should be nothing to worry about. The 28-year-old shouldn't be considered a lock for 100-plus RBI in 2021, but he should be able to provide his fantasy managers with some power, stolen bases and a solid batting average as a fringe top-five fantasy shortstop.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
