Xander Bogaerts Back In Sunday's Lineup
2 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Xander Bogaerts (wrist) has returned to the team's starting lineup on Sunday against the New York Yankees and right-hander Gerrit Cole, and he'll be hitting cleanup for the Friars. Bogaerts took Saturday's game off while dealing with wrist soreness, but it's apparently not much of an issue. Ha-Seong Kim will move back to third base and is hitting seventh in the batting order. After a strong month of April in which he hit over .300, Bogaerts has struggled in the month of May, hitting .193 (16-for-83) with three doubles, a homer and six RBI in 22 games. His wrist could have something to do with it, but DFS managers will probably want to avoid him against the Yankees' ace in the series finale.
