2 years agoX-rays came back negative on Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Trea Turner's finger on Friday night, and he said he just jammed his finger while diving back into first base on a pickoff attempt late in the Game 3 loss to the San Diego Padres in the National League Division Series. In the first three games of the series, Turner has gone 4-for-13 with two home runs, a double, two RBI, three runs scored and four strikeouts at the plate. But he's mostly been noticed for his mishaps on defense, recording two errors already at shortstop with the Dodgers facing elimination in Game 4 on Saturday. Hopefully, his jammed finger won't negatively impact his ability to swing the lumber for the rest of the series.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
