X-Rays Come Back Negative On Adolis Garcia
2 years agoInitial X-rays on Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia's wrist looked OK, according to interim manager Tony Beasley. The team will re-evaluate Garcia on Saturday after he was forced from Friday's game early against the Cleveland Guardians after taking a 100 mph cutter off his wrist. As of right now, the 29-year-old seems to be fine and should be considered day-to-day, but you shouldn't be surprised if he's not in Saturday's starting lineup. Garcia has been a must-start in fantasy this year, slashing .253/.304/.458 with 25 home runs, 95 RBI, 83 runs scored and 25 stolen bases in 566 at-bats for the Rangers. He hasn't been as strong in September, though, going just 16-for-70 (.229) with four homers, 15 RBI, 11 runs scored and three steals in 20 games.
