Willy Adames Resumes Baseball Activities
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames (concussion) will not join the team on the road against the Cincinnati Reds this weekend, but he is resuming baseball activities on Friday with High-A Wisconsin. The Brewers will make a decision at the end of the weekend about Adames' next steps. There's a chance that the 27-year-old won't need to go on a minor-league rehab assignment, so fantasy managers could be getting him back at some point early next week. He was put on the seven-day concussion injured list last Saturday after getting hit by a foul ball in the dugout. Adames is hitting a disappointing .205 (38-for-185) through 51 games, but he does have nine home runs, 27 RBI and four stolen bases.
