Will Levis Meeting With Panthers Thursday
2 years agoKentucky quarterback Will Levis is having dinner with Carolina Panthers owners David and Nicole Tepper, general manager Scott Fitterer, head coach Frank Reich, assistant GM Dan Morgan, vice president Samir Suleiman and assistant coaches Jim Caldwell, Thomas Brown and Josh McCown on Thursday, according to sources. Levis will throw during his school's Pro Day on Friday. While most pundits expect the Panthers to take either Alabama's Bryce Young or Ohio State's C.J. Stroud with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, they are doing their due diligence with another signal-caller projected to go early in the first round. The 23-year-old's numbers in college leave something to be desired, but he has a cannon for an arm and can also pick up yards with his legs. It would be a surprise if he isn't taken in the first 10 picks of next month's draft.
