5/24:The Chicago White Sox have claimed catcher Dustin Garneau off waivers from the Oakland Athletics on Friday in wake of the Welington Castillo performance-enhancing drug suspension news. Garneau, 30, was a 19th-round draft pick of the Rockies back in 2009. Garneau will serve as organizational depth at catcher for the White Sox going forward. He is a career .192 hitter over 82 games played in parts of three different seasons. Garneau can be safely ignored in all fantasy formats for now.--Phil Goyette - RotoBaller
