Walker Buehler Claims A No-Decision In Game 5 Loss
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starter Walker Buehler allowed only one run in 6 2/3 innings pitched, but it wasn't enough as the Dodgers fell to the Nationals 7-3 in extra innings of Game 5. Buehler gave it all he had, hurling 117 pitches while striking out seven Washington hitters. But the rest of the Dodgers pitching staff, namely Clayton Kershaw, couldn't hold a 3-0 lead and now the team is eliminated. Buehler was fantastic in the NLDS, posting a 0.71 ERA with 15 strikeouts through 12 2/3 innings while allowing only one run.
