2 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored in his return to the Grapefruit League lineup on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the team's 7-1 win. Guerrero missed around two weeks in camp due to some minor knee soreness, but he returned on Wednesday and should be just fine for Opening Day in a few weeks. The 24-year-old slugger will continue to fine tune his skills at the plate in Grapefruit League contests over the next several weeks. He's currently hitting .308 (4-for-13) with a double, two home runs, six RBI and three runs scored in six spring games.
