Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Only Expected To Miss A Few Days
7 years agoToronto Blue Jays prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. left Wednesday’s game early with a leg injury but is thankfully only expected to miss a day or two. The injury seemed to occur running the bases, but of course he did miss a few games prior with a leg injury as well. Fortunately, it seems like there’s nothing to see here and Guerrero will be back in no time. The 19-year-old phenom is slashing .401/.453/.663 for the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats, but a promotion to Triple-A Buffalo within the next month is rumored to be in the cards for him. With Toronto quickly falling further and further out of contention, it’s unlikely we see Guerrero in the majors until August, at the very earliest. Still, he should remain stashed in all fantasy leagues, especially dynasty formats.
