6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Virgil Green caught everyone off guard when he rumbled his way in for a touchdown against the Raiders. The traditional blocking tight end, Green's TD was just the fifth of his eight-year career. Green's TD came by way of a screen pass that worked to perfection partially because nobody on the defense suspected that he would be the target. The Chargers built a perfect blocking front for him, and Green plowed into the end zone from 13 yards out while barely being touched. Unfortunately, Green was later injured in the game and it is unclear how severe the injury is just yet. Either way, fantasy owners can safely assume this was a one-off instead of the breakout of a new target.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
