The Pittsburgh Penguins have agreed to a one-year contract with unrestricted free agent Vinnie Hinostroza. Pittsburgh snapped up the journeyman with a one-year pact worth $775,000. It's the fourth offseason in a row Hinostroza has inked a one-year deal with a team. The 29-year-old spent the last two seasons with Buffalo, but he made only 26 NHL appearances in 2022-23, posting two goals and 11 points. He had five goals and nine points in the AHL in 11 games with the Rochester Americans. Hinostroza has recorded 53 goals and 148 points in total in 360 career games in the NHL, showing that he can be a decent performer at this level. He could find himself in a pretty good situation in 2023-24 on a talented Pittsburgh team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
