Vikings Unlikely To Force Drafting A Quarterback
2 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings have closely monitored this year's quarterback class, but they have been hesitant to reveal their hand with any preferences and have yet to host a QB for a top-30 visit. They met with Kentucky's Will Levis, Florida's Anthony Richardson and UCLA's Dorian Thompson-Robinson at the scouting combine. The Vikings have an open mind about the position with Kirk Cousins entering the final year of his deal, but ESPN's Jordan Reid thinks Minnesota will only take a signal-caller if one falls into their lap in the first round at pick No. 23. General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah isn't shy about trading, but the Vikings are unlikely to force a QB in 2023. The Vikings are more likely to trade down late in the first round than they are to trade up to take a QB.
