Tyrone Taylor Reinstated From Injured List
1 year agoThe Milwaukee Brewers reinstated outfielder Tyrone Taylor (elbow) from the 10-day injured list on Friday to begin the second half of the regular season. Taylor was immediately back in the starting lineup on Friday, starting in right field and batting eighth against Cincinnati Reds right-hander Graham Ashcraft. The 29-year-old had been out since early June due to a sprained-right elbow, and he'll return to the Brewers as more of a depth outfielder. He'll also need to start hitting much better in order to secure more playing time for the contending Brewers. In 27 games earlier this year, he hit just .160 (12-for-75) with a homer, three doubles, four RBI, four stolen bases and five runs scored. Continue to ignore Taylor in mixed fantasy leagues.
