4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Tyrone Taylor, who was called up from the alternate training site on Wednesday when Lorenzo Cain landed on the injured list, has impressed the team within the past year. It sounds as if Cain's absence could be at least a week. Taylor has also boosted his stock more than any other position player over the last year with a strong showing at last year's alternate site and when he was promoted last fall. He had an .806 OPS and four extra-base hits in 41 at-bats in the Cactus League. The Brewers have outfield options with Jackie Bradley Jr., Avisail Garcia and Billy McKinney, so Taylor isn't guaranteed to see a ton of at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
