Tyrod Taylor Throws First Interception
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor started Sunday's game against the Saints and struggled to move the ball with the first-team offense. He went 7-for-10 for 57 yards, but he also suffered his first interception of the season on a tipped ball that fluttered right to a Saints DB. Taylor was unable to drive the team across midfield on any of his four drives, and it won't help his chances that Cardale Jones played well after Taylor left the field. Of course, Jones was facing a different defense and Taylor's struggles were accentuated by a poor run game that is missing its star, but it's never good to struggle when battling for a roster spot.
