Tyrod Taylor 2020 Outlook: Value As Long As He Plays
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor is expected to start for the Chargers this season, but may give way to first-round pick Justin Herbert sometime mid-season. There is always the chance that Herbert lights up the preseason and starts Week 1, but coach Anthony Lynn seems committed to giving Taylor the chance to start the season while Herbert sits and gets up to speed. Given his rushing ability and the strong targets in the Chargers passing game, Taylor should be a viable QB2 with some QB1 upside on good weeks as long as he maintains the starting job.
