Tyrion Davis-Price A Healthy Scratch For Wild-Card Game
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie running back Tyrion Davis-Price is a healthy scratch for the wild-card game on Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks. Tevin Coleman is also a healthy scratch, so the 49ers will be rolling with Christian McCaffrey, Elijah Mitchell and rookie Jordan Mason in their backfield to kick off the postseason. Davis-Price played the final three games of the regular season and saw 18 carries for 62 yards. In his first season in the NFL, the 22-year-old handled 34 carries for 99 yards and failed to catch either of his two targets in only six games played. McCaffrey will carry the load for San Francisco in the playoffs, with Mitchell and Mason picking up the scraps behind him.
