Tyler O'Neill Not In The Lineup Saturday
6 months agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Tyler O'Neill (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the hosting Chicago White Sox. O'Neill exited Friday's 7-2 loss early with right-knee discomfort just two days after returning from the injured list with a knee issue that had sidelined him since May 25. While O'Neill expressed optimism after Friday's game, both he and fantasy managers alike are frustrated by his knee issues given what was a fantastic start to his 2024 campaign. The former Cardinal has hit .250 with 11 home runs, one stolen base, and an .854 OPS across 44 games, production that grades out 33% above the league average, as per his 133 wRC+. Fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on the 28-year-old's status in the coming days, as his knee issues may not be quite behind him.
