Tampa Bay Lightning winger Tyler Motte (upper body) will miss an indefinite period of action, the team announced on Friday. Motte was injured on opening night against Nashville when a puck hit him on the hand. It was an awful way to start your career with a new team, and Motte will now have to patiently wait for another opportunity to take the ice with the Lightning. The gritty forward is set to be replaced in the lineup by Alex Barre-Boulet, who has been called up from the AHL. The 26-year-old has six goals and nine points through 32 career outings in the NHL, but he's been a scoring machine in the minors, amassing 147 points (40 goals, 107 assists) in 127 games across the past two campaigns.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
