Tyler Lockett Hovers Around Low-End Flex Territory In Week 7
2 months agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett caught four of six targets for 45 yards in a Week 7 win against the Atlanta Falcons. Lockett continues to see solid target volume and has been relatively efficient with his targets. His yardage totals continue to remain low, but he has been a trusted safety valve for quarterback Geno Smith all season. The Seahawks' passing volume in Week 7 was lower than it had been in recent weeks. Smith only threw 28 passes in the game. The defense did a good job propelling the Seahawks to victory, and the offense did not have to do a lot in the passing game in the second half. As such, Lockett should continue to be a solid fantasy asset moving forward when the Seahawks are not blowing teams out. Fantasy managers should not expect much in the way of a ceiling from Lockett, but he has demonstrated he has a solid floor in a potent Seahawks offense in 2024.
