Chicago Cubs right-handed pitcher Tyler Chatwood was scratched from his start Friday, but after returning to the field for a workout Saturday, he has been penciled in as one of the club’s two starters for Monday’s doubleheader against St. Louis. Chatwood was splendid in his first two starts at Wrigley Field before the wheels fell off his last time out in Kansas City; fortunately, Monday’s doubleheader will take place at the friendly confines, giving him an edge. The biggest difference for Chatwood this season has been his increase in strikeouts, as he is whiffing an above-average 35.4% of batters that he has faced. He is now in line for a two-start week, giving him additional appeal in season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
