Tyler Anderson Labors Again
6 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Tyler Anderson was chased early once again after allowing five earned runs in 4 2/3 innings. Anderson struck out nine, his highest single-game total since July of last season, but he also gave up three home runs to the Braves. Anderson also walked four on the day, and he was lucky to escape with just five earned since only one of the homers happened with someone on base. Anderson was gifted a no-decision by his offense's strong performance, but the bullpen eventually caused Colorado to lose the game anyway. Anderson remains unownable in all leagues for now, and he should not be started against the DBacks next week.
